Tiheasha Beasley, Founder and Editor of Banner of Modesty, now resides in Chicago with her husband and they attend Legacy Fellowship South. She is a graduate of Kankakee High School and received her degree in Political Science from Western Illinois University. In 2009, she started a Women’s cell group in Kankakee County, and in 2010 she decided to found Banner of Modesty to help encourage women to stand out and be the women and young women of God they were called to be. She believes that in order to have an effective change in this generation, more positive leaders in the church and community should adopt the great commission (Matthew 28) where it tells us to go out and make disciples of Jesus Christ.
She is one of the leaders of the Banner of Modesty women’s bible study. She also makes herself available for one on one mentoring sessions with ladies 19-25, seminars, workshops, women’s cell group gatherings, and other speaking opportunities.
Tiheasha’s Favorite Meditation Verse: Luke 9:23 “And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.”
